WiFi bandwidth of Shaheed Md. Shah Hall of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has been augmented up to 100 Megabits per second (12.5 Megabytes per second) as announced by the hall authority on 13th instant. It is hoped that students of the residential hall can now have better connectivity and internet speed while using the Shah Hall WiFi network.
The notice also declares that Aamra Network, the corporation to ensure internet access through WiFi, had successfully jettisoned difficulties that previously persisted in the network. If any problem is experienced in the network connection, students are asked to submit their objections to the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) department.
It is however, notifiable that each byte is comprised of eight bits.
